The countdown is definitely on for Christmas and the end of a very successful 2015 for so many. To celebrate the year we will be having our Christmas get together this Saturday from 3.00pm onwards at JORG HQ 43 Myall Street Oatley and it would be great to see as many of you as possible. We will keep the BBQ going and the drinks flowing so feel free to pick a time that suits you to pop in!
There has been lots of excitement and talk about the Six Foot Track Marathon in March next year and we will once again be having our very popular training camp the month before the race at the KCC in Katoomba on the weekend 5-7 February. We have got lots on offer this year and will open up registrations at the end of this week. Even if you are not doing Six Foot, this camp is on the 'must do' list!
In the next couple of weeks leading up to Christmas we will be giving you the opportunity to buy singlets, T shirts, and Up And Running training manuals at special discounted prices. These will be available at Tuesday training sessions or drop me a line to order. 'Save Save Save $$$'

Tuesday. Oatley Park 5.00pm - Junior JORG UP And Running class.
Thursday. Oatley Park 6.30pm - Hills, speed & strength session.

Sunday. Oatley Clock 6.00am - long easy run over one of our many scenic courses.
Special mention to Jennelle and Rob who on Friday will celebrate their wedding at Shelly Beach Cronulla. It has been a pleasure seeing them come together from two different states after meeting at the Canberra Marathon a few years ago, to now being married and we all wish them much love and best wishes for the future!

First of all a huge congratulations to our Junior runners who took part in the NSW All school cross country championships on Friday and all performed great. We also had over 20 take part in the Sutherland 2 Surf with so many PB times recorded it was incredible. One of those PB's belongs to Samantha who ran 45.39 compared with 67.27 in 2012 - well done Samantha!! JORG also finished on top of the team section thanks to top performances by Chadi, Brandon, Robyn and Wayne.
On Tuesday we will have a visit at training from JORG sponsor Mizuno, who will be wear testing the latest models including the very popular Sayonara amongst others. These shoes are all available from another great sponsor and supporter The Athletes Foot in Hurstville who offer a very generous 20% discount exclusively to JORG members. If you don't have your member card please let me know as you will have to present this in store!!
